Privacy Policy
How Path Valley International Institute collects, uses and protects the information you share with us — and what you can ask us to do with it.
Last updated · September 2026
We ask for very little, and almost all of it is what you tell us when you enquire about your child. This page sets out exactly what that means in practice.
Who we are
Path Valley International Institute is a learning institute in Abu Dhabi providing CBSE-aligned academic support for children from KG to Grade 4. We are the controller of the personal information described on this page.
You can reach us about anything on this page using the contact details at the end of it.
What we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us when you get in touch. Typically that is:
- your name and your relationship to the child
- your phone number, and your email address if you use it
- your child's first name, age, school year or grade
- what you have told us about your child's learning — where they are finding things difficult, and what you would like help with
- notes we make during a free assessment, and any progress records we keep afterwards
We do not ask for financial details on this website. There is no payment facility here, and we will never ask you to send card details by message or email.
How we collect it
Through the enquiry form on our contact page, by WhatsApp, by phone, by email, or in person when you visit us.
When you submit the enquiry form on this site, the details you have entered are opened as a WhatsApp message on your own device, addressed to us. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it there.
Messages you send by WhatsApp are carried and processed by WhatsApp under Meta's own privacy terms, which we do not control. Once a message reaches us, this policy applies to it.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, arrange and carry out a free assessment, place a child in the right programme, teach them, and keep you informed about how they are getting on.
We also use it to keep our own records — attendance, progress notes and the ordinary administration of running a learning institute.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it, rent it or trade it. Ever.
Children's information
Most of what we hold relates to a child, and we treat it accordingly.
We collect a child's information from the parent or guardian who enquires, not from the child. This website is written for parents, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from anyone under 18 through it.
We keep what we need to teach a child well and no more. We do not publish a child's name, photograph, work or progress anywhere — including on this website or on social media — without the specific, written permission of their parent or guardian, given for that purpose and withdrawable at any time.
Who sees it
Our own teaching and administrative staff, where they need it to do their job.
We use a small number of ordinary service providers to run the institute — for example the messaging, email and website hosting services this site depends on. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We will disclose information where the law requires it, or where we believe in good faith that a child is at risk of harm.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment are kept only while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us.
Records for enrolled children are kept for as long as they attend, and for a period afterwards so that we can answer questions about their time with us and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
When we no longer need something, we delete it.
How we protect it
This website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry and progress records is limited to staff who need it.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. What we can say is that we hold as little as we can, for as short a time as we can, which is the most effective protection available to an organisation of our size.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you or your child
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete information we no longer need to keep
- stop contacting you
Ask by any of the means on our contact page. We will not charge you for it, and we will not make it difficult.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when what we do changes. The date at the top of the page is when it was last revised — currently September 2026.
